Scene 1: The Kingdom of the Queen
(The stage is dark. A soft light shines on the throne. The Queen stands alone, looking in a mirror.)
Queen:
Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?
(She waits for the mirror to answer.)
Mirror:
You are the fairest, my queen. But Snow White is even more beautiful than you.
Queen:
What? That little girl? No! She cannot be fairer than me!
(She clutches her chest in anger.)
Queen (to herself):
I must get rid of her. I will not allow her to take my beauty away.
Narrator:
And so, the evil queen made a plan. She would send the huntsman to kill Snow White in the forest. But the huntsman was kind-hearted and could not go through with it.
Scene 2: The Forest
(Snow White walks through the forest, singing a gentle song. She is unaware of the danger.)
Snow White:
I’m walking through the woods,
Where the trees are tall and bold.
I see the sun, I hear the birds,
And I feel so free and bold.
(Suddenly, the huntsman appears.)
Huntsman:
Snow White, I cannot kill you. You are too kind and pure.
Go to the forest, and live with the dwarfs. They will protect you.
Snow White:
Thank you, kind huntsman. I will go.
(Snow White exits as the huntsman watches her go.)
Narrator:
And so, Snow White ran into the forest, where she met the seven dwarfs.
Scene 3: The Dwarfs’ Cottage
(The stage shows a small cottage. The dwarfs are working.)
Doc:
We have no time to waste! We need to clean the house before the queen finds us.
Grumpy:
Why do we have to work so hard? I don’t like this.
Happy:
But we have to keep our home safe.
(Snow White enters.)
Snow White:
Hello, friends. May I stay here for a while?
Dopey:
Oh, look! A pretty girl!
Bashful:
She’s very lovely.
Sleepy:
I’m sleepy…
Sneezy:
Achoo!
Happy:
We can let her stay.
Narrator:
From that day on, Snow White lived with the dwarfs. She helped them cook, clean, and keep the house warm.
Scene 4: The Queen’s Plan Fails
(The queen returns to her mirror.)
Queen:
Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?
Mirror:
You are still the fairest, my queen.
Queen:
Good! But what about Snow White? Is she still alive?
Mirror:
She lives with the dwarfs, but she is still very beautiful.
Queen:
Then I must try again. I will make a poisoned apple and give it to her.
Narrator:
So the queen disguised herself as an old woman and went to the dwarfs’ house.
Scene 5: The Poisoned Apple
(The queen knocks on the door.)
Queen (disguised):
Hello, dear dwarfs! I have a gift for your friend. A red apple. It’s very sweet.
Snow White:
Thank you, ma’am.
(She takes the apple and bites into it. She falls to the ground.)
Snow White:
I feel… cold…
Dwarfs (in panic):
Snow White! Snow White!
Narrator:
The dwarfs were heartbroken. They placed her in a glass coffin and kept watch over her.
Scene 6: The Prince Saves the Day
(Years pass. One day, a prince arrives at the castle.)
Prince:
I heard of a beautiful girl who sleeps in a glass coffin. I must find her.
(He kisses Snow White, and she wakes up.)
Snow White:
I am awake!
Prince:
You are the most beautiful girl I have ever seen.
Narrator:
And so, Snow White and the prince married and lived happily ever after.
Final Scene: A New Beginning
Narrator:
And the evil queen? She learned that kindness and love are stronger than jealousy and hate.
All Characters (together):
The end.
(Curtain closes.)
